DIRECTIONS

While some local theatres are re-opening, unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to remain closed for the time being. Due to the small size of our intimate venue, there is simply no way to know at this time when circumstances will render it safe to come back. And the health and safety of each cast and crew member, and of course our beloved patrons, are our primary considerations.

However, please know that we eagerly look forward to the day we will return to present the high-quality contemporary and classic productions that ABET has become known for. And we will return. We will see you again. Until then, if there is anything you need, or that we can help with, please let me know. We are a community and are here to help. And a huge thank you to those of you who have made donations to ABET to help us through this crisis, and in memory of Gordon Frank.

We love you. Please stay safe.

Managing Artistic Director

A GIFT FOR OUR PATRONS

We are thrilled to announce that LA THEATRE WORKS has granted us permission to make two of their audio performances available to our patrons.

These are offered FREE FOR EVERYONE but we hope you’ll consider making a donation to ABET to help us cover our ongoing monthly expenses while the theatre remains dark.

MAKE A DONATION

Click on the donate button above and you’ll be given an opportunity to make either a ONE-TIME DONATION or a SMALL MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION for the duration of our closure. We hope you’ll consider the second option. For the cost of one Starbucks visit per month, you can help keep ABET going and ready to quickly move forward with our next production as soon as it is possible.

In the meantime …

LA Theatre Works is the nation’s leading producer of audio theatre. The two pieces below are radio-theatre style performances, recorded in front of live audiences. Both links will be active through October 30. Enjoy!
