MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS

Musical Theatre I

Fall Session: WED Aug 31 – Dec 14 | 4–5pm
spring session dates Jan 11 – Apr 19

This year-long class is for beginning and intermediate students. The class will study the building blocks of acting and singing as they apply to musical theatre. Students will work towards performing a show in the spring semester.*

FEE: $325 per session
Deposit of $75 due on or before Aug 31 | First payment due Oct 12 | Second payment due Nov 30

*This class is not recommended as a first time acting class.

Musical Theatre II

Fall Session: WED Aug 31 – Dec 14 | 5–6:30pm
spring session dates Jan 11 – Apr 19

Instructors: AARON & ERIK DeCICCO

Permission of the instructor required. This year-long class is for the advanced musical theatre student. Students should already show strong aptitude with acting and singing, and moving on stage. Students are expected to perform solo, with a partner, and in a group, while engaging a variety of styles of music and theatre. Students will perform a full-length show in the spring semester.

FEE: $375 per session
Deposit of $125 due on or before Aug 31 | First payment due Oct 12 | Second payment due Nov 30


INSTRUCTORS

Aaron

AARON DeCICCO is a familiar face onstage and off in the Jacksonville theatre community. Most recently, Aaron was the music director for the Florida State College at Jacksonville Summer Music Theatre Experience’s production of Cats. Some of her favorite Theatrical credits include Pregnant Woman – Jump Man: A Mario Musical (NYC Internation Fringe Festival Winner: Best Musical 2014). Skszhp/Music Director: Hedwig and the Angry Inch (The Five and Dime: A Theatre Company, 2012 and Far Too Ambitious Productions, 2009); Rona Lisa Perretti: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (ABET, 2009). Aaron is currently preparing for her role of Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act at Alhambra Theatre and Dining.

Erik

ERIK DeCICCO was born and raised in Jacksonville.  He graduated from Stanton College Prep., Jacksonville University, and earned an M.F.A. in Acting at The University of Louisville. Erik has acted and directed throughout the Northeast Florida area and was last seen at the Alhambra as Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast and King in Big River. His credits include: Jump Man! A Mario Musical (2014 NYC Fringe Best Musical Winner), Amadeus, Seminar, Phantom, Next to Normal.  TV: AMC’s Making of the Mob, Mysteries at the Museum.  Directing:  Little Women, The 39 Steps, Weird Romance, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, Once on this Island, Xanadu.
