MAIN STAGE | To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday is a delightful romantic and humorous play, and winner of the Oppenheimer Award for Best Play in 1983. During a summer weekend at a New England beach house, a young widower experiences his emotional rebirth.
Our production features an exciting mix of marvelous “pros” and fresh, new talent. Sara Jessica Parker and Frances Conroy starred in the original Off-Broadway production. Following its success, The New York Times and Variety both hailed playwright Brady as a writer of unusual promise.
