The Adele Grage Cultural Center’s March Featured Artists are Bunny Morgan and Tom Huber
When: April 1-29 | M-F 8-4:30pm
Artist’s Reception: Thu, March 17, 5-8pm
After receiving her degree in Michigan, Bunny taught there and traveled to Guam to teach students as well as Massachusetts and Jacksonville. After being introduced to watercolors at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, she has exhibited in several Jacksonville locations. She is one of 35 artists in the Liquid Muse: Painting of the St. Johns River Region.
Tom’s passion for painting started in high school and continues to this day. While in the Navy, he switched mediums from oils to acrylics, which enabled him to paint while on the ship.
He received a fine arts degree from U.N.F. and went on to teach art in middle school until he retired. His compositions are mostly landscapes from around the beaches or from places he has visited. His most recent art is a representation of trips to Egypt and China. “I try to capture the feel and colors of the environment.” Tom exhibits his art only on occasion, so don’t miss his display at the Adele Grage Gallery this month.
The exhibit is free and open to the public weekdays, 8-4:30 pm.
